Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. (FMA) has promoted Keith Horn from vice president of marketing to senior vice president of marketing and sales. In his new position he assumes full responsibility for all FMA products and services, including packaging and foundry services.

Ray Abrishami, who had been senior director of SoC engineering, is now responsible for FMA's marketing organization and will report to Keith Horn.

Horn began his career in sales at Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) in Maidenhead, England, then moved to the marketing group in FME's headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. He spent two years as European marketing manager for Atmel Corporation, then returned to Fujitsu to become marketing director for memory products in the United States, then director of marketing of the System Solutions Group. In July 2001, he was named vice president of marketing in 2001. Horn holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Abrishami is currently responsible for development of Fujitsu’s SoC and system solution products. Prior to joining FMA, Abrishami served in senior engineering management positions at LSI Logic Corporation. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering and is a graduate of Stanford University's Engineering Management Program. He has been granted three U.S. patents in circuits and systems.
