Intier Automotive launches NXT exterior vehicle speakers

Leveraging technology developed by NXT, Intier Automotive Inc. has introduced AudioLITE exterior loudspeakers for the recreational vehicle (RV) market. Based on NXT distributed mode loudspeaker (DML) technology, Intier’s 220 x 300 mm AudioLITE speakers are said to produce clean and clear non-directional sound without the beaming effect commonly associated with conventional loudspeaker technology. The speakers conform to any flat, exterior surface and are water resistant. Intier has interior speakers in development.
