Apogee Technology introduces miniature pressure sensors

Apogee Technology Inc. has launched a line of "all silicon" pressure sensors said to be smaller than most existing sensor solutions by a factor of four. Sensors in the Sensilica family target automotive, industrial and other applications. Glenn Fricano, director of Apogee's MEMS division, said the first product in the family is a 0-75 pounds per square-inch pressure sensor die.
