SMT Mini Door Lock Receptacles Resist Permanent Deformation

Aug. 1, 1999

Designed for insertion/withdrawal repeatability and demonstrating a high resistance to permanent deformation, even when the mating tab or terminal is misaligned, these surface-mount mini door lock receptacles accommodate out-of-tolerance assemblies and still provide reliable interconnections. They are well-suited to simultaneously mating multiple tabs such as custom terminal stampings, insert molded housings, relays, switches and automotive blade-type fuses. Receptacles withstand repeated mating cycles, shock, vibration and temperature cycling. Mini door locks provide reliable PCB-to-PCB, PCB-to-Fuse and PCB-to-Terminal interconnections. They offer top, bottom or horizontal mating with applications using 0.015" to 0.032" thick terminals.
