European tier one eyes Microvision display technology

Microvision (www.microvision.com) says a European tier one firm plans to evaluate Microvision’s PicoP miniature laser projection technology for head-up displays and other automotive display applications.

Microvision said a European tier one firm plans to evaluate Microvision’s PicoP miniature laser-projection technology for head-up displays and other automotive display applications. Microvision claims that its technology offers resolution, contrast, color, size, and power consumption advantages over flat panel displays for mobile applications. PicoP is based on proprietary MEMS scanning micro mirror technology. Microvision is also working with tier one firms in North America and Asia.
