Honeywell licenses LG Electronics to use GPS technology

Honeywell (www.honeywell.com) has licensed LG Electronics Inc. (www.lge.com) to use two patents relating to global positioning systems (GPS) and to grant sublicenses for some automotive OEM and aftermarket applications.

Honeywell has licensed LG Electronics Inc. to use two patents relating to Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and to grant sublicenses for some automotive OEM and aftermarket applications. The licensed patents, which have counterparts in Japan, Europe and Canada, relate to navigation systems that use inertial components to help improve GPS accuracy.
