T/J team wins LiIon contract

The U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (www.tacom.army.mil/) has awarded T/J Technologies (www.tjtechnologies.com) a 30 month, $5.1 million contract to develop and demonstrate large format lithium-ion batteries for future military hybrid vehicles.

The U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command has awarded T/J Technologies a 30-month, $5.1 million contract to develop and demonstrate large format lithium-ion batteries for future military hybrid vehicles.

The T/J Technologies development team includes Lithium Technology Corporation, Saturn Electronics & Engineering Inc., Powdermet Inc. and Science Applications International Corp..
