National Semiconductor opens power application design center in Europe

National Semiconductor Corp. (www.national.com) has opened a new Power Application Design Center within its European headquarters in Fuerstenfeldbruck, near Munich.

National Semiconductor Corp. has opened a Power Application Design Center within its European headquarters in Fuerstenfeldbruck, near Munich. The center is expected to strengthen application and system-support services for engineers designing power supplies and power-management systems. It provides a full spectrum of engineering services including reference designs, product selection, circuit design, board layout and problem analysis, according to John Phelps, National Semiconductor's vice president and general manager for Europe.
