KEMET launches high temperature T499 tantalum chip series

KEMET Corporation (www.kemet.com) has launched a T499 series of tantalum chip capacitors. for applications with operating temperatures up to 175 °C including under-hood automotive electronics.

KEMET Corporation has launched a T499 series of tantalum chip capacitors for applications with operating temperatures up to 175 °C including under-hood automotive electronics. The capacitors offer the highest operating temperatures available in a surface-mount packaging.

The T499 series is available in five EIA standard case sizes (A, B, C, D and X) and offers a capacitance range of 0.15 µF to 220 µF in voltage ratings from 6 V to 50 V. The T499 capacitors are available in RoHS compliant versions and in standard Sn/Pb (5% Pb minimum) terminations.
