VII consortium selects Parvus vehicle computer

The Vehicle Infrastructure Integration Consortium (www.viiconsortium.org)has selected the Parvus (www.parvus.com) DuraCOR 1100 computer for inclusion in the federally funded Intelligent Transportation Systems initiative (www.its.dot.gov).

The Vehicle Infrastructure Integration Consortium has selected the Parvus DuraCOR 1100 computer for inclusion in the federally funded Intelligent Transportation Systems initiative. The computers will be used as Linix-based servers by automakers working on concept designs for a nationwide, standards-based communications infrastructure able to support vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communication. Parvus is part of the Eurotech Group, which specializes in traffic and public transportation systems and services.
