ETAS selects Aonix PERC Ultra for automotive diagnostics system

Bosch (www.bosch.com) subsidiary ETAS Group (www.etas.com) will use Aonix’ (www.aonix.com) PERC Ultra virtual machine in a new line of automotive service diagnostic equipment.

Bosch subsidiary ETAS Group will use Aonix’ PERC Ultra virtual machine in a new line of automotive service diagnostic equipment. PERC will facilitate the use of Java code on a portable, ARM/Linux-based, automotive diagnostic tool. ETAS developed its system with Java to gain the portability advantages of Java code and virtual machine execution environments, which enable the same code to run on multiple hardware devices and operating systems.
