Intertek acquires Automotive Research Laboratory

Intertek Caleb Brett, a division of Intertek Group plc (www.intertek-cb.com), has reached agreement to purchase the assets, contracts, technology and intellectual property of PerkinElmer’s (www.perkinelmer.com) Fluid Sciences Division’s Automotive Research Laboratory (ARL).

Intertek Caleb Brett, a division of Intertek Group plc has reached agreement to purchase the assets, contracts, technology and intellectual property of PerkinElmer’s Fluid Sciences Division’s Automotive Research Laboratory (ARL).

ARL provides engine dynamometer, vehicle, durability, fuels, lubricants, transmission, materials, analytical, and fuel system testing services to the automotive and petrochemical industries. ARL's management team and staff will continue to run the business integrated into Intertek Caleb Brett's global laboratory network.
