Analog Devices combines Spansion flash with Blackfin processors in multichip module

Flash memory supplier Spansion (www.spansion.com) said that Analog Devices Inc. (www.analog.com) is combining Spansion Known Good Die (KGD) flash memory with its Blackfin processor in a multichip module (MCM) for telematics applications.

The Blackfin ADSP-BF539F combines either 4 Mb or 8 Mb of Spansion flash memory with the 500 MHz Blackfin ADSP-BF539 in a single package. The product is supported by the INTEGRITY real-time operating system from Green Hills Software (www.ghs.com).
