Fujitsu promotes Keith Horn to chief operating officer for U.S. semiconductor operation

Fujitsu Microelectronics America has promoted Keith Horn from senior vice president of sales and marketing to chief operating officer.

Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. (http://us.fujitsu.com/micro/) has promoted Keith Horn from senior vice president of sales and marketing to chief operating officer, reporting to president and chief executive officer Kazuyuki Kawauchi.

Horn was responsible for FMA's four business groups, as well as marketing communications and engineering. In his new role, the four vice presidents heading operations, IT, human resources, accounting, finance, and legal will also report to him.

Horn began his career in sales at Fujitsu Microelectronics in Maidenhead, England, and then moved to the marketing group in the company's European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. He became vice president of marketing in 2001 and senior vice president of marketing and sales in 2004.
