Tier one supplier orders IPG Photonics 1 kW fiber lasers

IPG Photonics Corporation (www.ipgphotonics.com) has received an order from a tier one automotive supplier for ten 1kW fiber lasers to replace diode-pumped crystal rod lasers for cutting hydroform parts.

IPG Photonics Corporation has received an order from a tier one automotive supplier for ten 1 kW fiber lasers to replace diode-pumped crystal rod lasers for cutting hydroform parts. The units are expected to be delivered in the first quarter.
