Vishay has released a family of low-profile, high-current inductors for use in voltage regulators for use in voltage regulator modules.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. has released a family of low-profile, high-current inductors for use in voltage regulator modules and dc-to-dc converters for automotive systems, among other applications.

The Vishay Dale IHLP-2525CZ-11 inductors are specified for saturation currents from 2.5 A to 9.5 A, typical DCR values from 7.6 milliOhms to 128.9 milliOhms, and maximum DCR values from 8.0 milliOhms to 135.0 milliOhms. The inductors measure 0.255 by 0.270 inches (6.47 mm by 6.86 mm) with a 0.118-inch height profile.
