SMSC Automotive Infotainment Systems (www.smsc-ais.com) has released version 1.4.0 of its OptoLyzer G2 30xx family of MOST (Media Oriented System Transport) analysis tools for MOST25 and MOST50 networks.

SMSC Automotive Infotainment Systems has released version 1.4.0 of its OptoLyzer G2 30xx family of media oriented system transport (MOST) analysis tools for MOST25 and MOST50 networks.

An improved file feeder is said to enhance recorded trace file analysis by allowing trace files to be imported into the OptoLyzer suite, and by supporting high level protocols such as AMS, MOST High and MAMAC. Data can be fed into the viewer, recorder, graph and watch components. For detailed, project-oriented work, the suite now supports storing and/or loading complete workspaces or components settings such as filter, trigger or color. Users can designate various settings for specific projects.

Cigarette lighter or open-ended power supply cables facilitate set up in a vehicle or test environment. SMSC is offering a voucher for a free MOST network analysis lab session with each OptoLyzer G2 3025o or OptoLyzer G2 3050e purchase.

The OptoLyzer Suite V1.4.0 runs on Windows2000/XP systems with normal user mode and can be upgraded free of charge on SMSC’s web site.
