Autonet Mobile has added content storage to its automotive Internet service. Passengers can access personal stored content and access the Internet from laptops, cell phones or other wireless devices via Autonet’s Mobile Wi-Fi router, which turns a vehicle into a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Autonet Mobile currently provides Avis Rent a Car with the Avis Connect service and recently reached agreement with a car dealer group in northern California to have the technology mounted inside Toyota and Volvo vehicles.
