Optimization of Control Device Parameters

Nov. 1, 2006
Vector Informatik has made it easier to optimize the control device parameters in motor vehicles.

With the new version 6.0 of the MCD tool CANape, Vector Informatik (www.vector-informatik.de) has made it easier to optimize the control device parameters in motor vehicles. CANape 6.0 is the first application tool to have an XCP-on interface for direct access to parameters inside the control devices. CANape identifies the new free FlexRay bandwidth and assigns it dynamically and efficiently to the current application data traffic. This enables the bandwidth to be optimally used for XCP communication, while hardly affecting normal FlexRay communication.

More about CANape 6.0 can be found on the Internet at www.ecu-calibration.de.
