Enea, a supplier of real-time operating systems, intends to integrate the flash file system of HCC-Embedded into its real-time operating system OSE Epsilon and offer it as part of an overall solution in conjunction with the automotive software platform EE-Auto.

EE-Auto is already used by a major Swedish automobile manufacturer and offers real-time multitasking, networking and distributed communication systems that considerably facilitate the development of multiprocessor-oriented control systems in motor vehicles that perform functions such as braking, engine and emission control, entertainment or telematics.

OSE Epsilon supports the EFFS-TINY data system, which is optimized for flash memory with small, erasable sectors, and the EFFS-STD file system for systems with integrated flash memories without access to complex data backup software.
