    Wipro joins STAR standards body

    Wipro Limited’s IT services division, Wipro Technologies, (www.wipro.com) has joined the automotive retail standards body STAR (Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail), becoming the first Indian services company to do so.

    Wipro Ltd's IT services division, Wipro Technologies, has joined the automotive retail standards body STAR (Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail), becoming the first Indian services company to do so. STAR creates voluntary IT standards for data elements and transmission formats used by manufacturers, dealers and retail system providers.
