Analog integrated circuit supplier Linear Technology Corporation has opened a design center in Munich to provide analog design resources to European customers. The center is Linear’s first in Europe, and its eleventh overall.

“Centrally locating our latest design center on the European continent, puts us in a better position to develop the right products for our major European customers,” said Linear Technology CEO Lothar Maier. “Germany represents an ideal location for our first European design center, with its focus on the automotive, industrial and communications markets," Maier said.

Linear Technology has technical field sales engineers and field applications engineers throughout Europe, including Munich, Stuttgart and Ascheberg, Germany, and in offices in Finland, France, Italy, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
