iBiquity Digital selects ALPS TDGA2 tuner for HD radio receiver reference design

HD radio developer iBiquity Digital Corporation (www.ibiquity.com) has selected the ALPS (www.alps.com) TDGA2 tuner for its second generation (version 2.0) HD Radio Reference Design.

HD radio developer iBiquity Digital Corporation has selected the ALPS TDGA2 tuner for its second-generation (version 2.0) HD radio reference design. Jeff Jury, iBiquity chief operating officer, said the 2.0 design has been optimized for heightened AM/FM sensitivity and reduced bill-of-material costs and is available immediately to licensed HD radio manufacturers.
