Garmin acquires distributors in Spain and Italy
Garmin Ltd. has acquired Electronica Trepat S.A. ("Electronica Trepat"), its principal distributor in Spain, and Synergy S.p.A., its distributor in Italy. The companies will be renamed Garmin Iberia S.A. and Garmin Italia S.p.A. respectively, and will retain their management, sales, marketing and supporting staffs near Barcelona, and in Milan, consisting of approximately 100 people between the two. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed
