Microchip Technology Inc. (www.microchip.com) has introduced a ten-member family of voltage supervisors that offer a watchdog timer, manual reset, combinations of push-pull or open-drain reset outputs, and factory trip-points from 2.0V to 4.7V in 100 mV increments.

Microchip Technology Inc. has introduced a 10-member family of voltage supervisors that offer a watchdog timer, manual reset, combinations of push-pull or open-drain reset outputs, and factory trip-points from 2.0 V to 4.7 V in 100 mV increments.

Packaged in a five-pin SOT-23, the MCP1316, MCP1316M, MCP1317, MCP1318, MCP1318M, MCP1319, MCP1319M, MCP1320, MCP1321 and MCP1322 voltage supervisors operate within the -40 °C to +125 °C extended industrial temperature range. They monitor microprocessor activity in digital systems, operating at input voltages from 1.0 V up to 5.5 V and consuming 5 µA (typical).
