Mobileye N.V. has licensed Databahn DDR memory controller intellectual property from Denali Software for use in Mobileye’s EyeQ2 Vision system-on-chip. The firms said the IP-enabled Mobileye meets design specifications faster than otherwise possible for four automotive OEMs. The SOC is used for driver assistance and active safety applications.

Elchanan Rushinek, Mobileye vice president of research and development, said the Denali technology improved the performance of Mobileye’s chip and accelerated Mobileye’s development time. Databahn provides an infrastructure for configuring, analyzing, and generating optimal memory controllers for specific applications.
