Workshop to focus on vision and robots for automotive manufacturing

The Automated Imaging Association (www.machinevisiononline.org) will co-sponsor a workshop on applying machine vision and robotics technology for automotive applications.

The Automated Imaging Association will co-sponsor a workshop on applying machine vision and robotics technology for automotive applications. The workshop is scheduled for Oct. 17-18 at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel in Novi, Mi. Presentations from current users and suppliers to the industry will be accompanied by tabletop exhibits from machine vision and robotics companies from around the world.

‘‘This is the most comprehensive workshop ever held for companies involved in automotive manufacturing who want to learn how machine vision and robotics can help them reduce cost, boost productivity, improve quality and increase flexibility,’‘ said Jeffrey A. Burnstein, executive director of the Automated Imaging Association.
