VadaTech Inc. recently introduced the ATC125 embedded-computing carrier module for demanding computational tasks.

The ATC125 carrier module has an onboard x16 PCI Express Gen3 slot to accept a standard PCI Express edge-type module, and has dual 100 Gigabit Ethernet connected to the fabric channels and dual Gigabit Ethernet to the base channels.

The Intel Core X-series includes as much as 128 GB of DDR4 memory, and an option for trusted platform management (TPM).

The X-series is fitted with two AVX-512 fused multiply-add (FMA) units. The new Intel Advanced Vector Extensions 512 (AVX-512) instruction set extensions deliver 512-bit vector operations capabilities, with as much as two FMA instructions to accelerate performance for demanding computational tasks.

The ATC125 can accommodate a dual-width PCI Express module with the dual-width ATCA front-panel option, expanding the board pitch from 1.2 to 2.4 inches. The front panel contains USB 3.0, video, RS-232, and dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
