DIN rail and back panel mounting ensures quick and easy installation for the new Series CZR solid-state contactor, a highly compact and versatile solid-state option for controlling electric heat. The device features single-phase, 24A to 50A zero-cross and random switching up to 600V. Its compact size reduces panel space and cost, it’s claimed, and its touch-safe terminals increase safety for the user and operator. Its faster switching allows users to save energy and extend battery life. The integrated design also removes the guesswork associated with selecting a proper heat sink, and provides fast hook-up to terminations. The contactor was designed specifically for use in plastics and semiconductor processing, wave solder and reflow, and small ovens.
