Energy Micro Extends Reach Into Taiwan

Energy Micro, a maker of energy-friendly microcontrollers (MCUs), adds distributor Long Trump to its Asia-Pacific sales network. Long Trump will support Energy Micro’s complete family of low-power MCUs in Taiwan, which now includes the ARM Cortex M3 Tiny Gecko, Gecko, and Giant Gecko devices. Also operating in Shenzhen and Shanghai to service the China market, Long Trump’s product line includes battery cells, RFICs, passive components, and analog semiconductors. “Long Trump has a reputation for long and valued relationships with customers and suppliers and we look forward to a prosperous partnership with them,” says Bryan Hung, vice president of sales APAC for Energy Micro.
