A family of ultra fine-celled foams with characteristics well suited for gasketing and sealing applications, ISOLOSS LS urethanes effectively resist compression set, offer high tensile and tear strengths, and exhibit excellent environmental-resistance properties. Thicknesses range from 0.015 to 0.5 in. and densities range from less than 10 to more than 20 pcf. Standard color is charcoal with custom colors also available. Easily and cleanly die cut, the foams can be combined on line during production or afterward by adhesive lamination with various facings, backings, films or scrims. The proprietary damped elastomer formulations absorb mechanical energy, perform across an operating temperature range from -40° to 194° F, and withstand intermittent exposure to up to 250°F.
