Providing a complete redundant system design for critical applications, such as plant, energy or safety control systems, SDN Redundant Series power supplies are an enhanced version of the firm's DIN rail mounted SDN Series power supplies. The new series offers additional monitoring via a contact for quick feedback of dc power status. Internal isolation diodes prevent problems with a failed unit or the dc bus corrupting working units. The DIN rail mounted units come with pluggable screw terminal connections for ac and dc terminations. Startup and operation is reliable and smooth with current balancing circuits. Price starts at $169.
