These HEXFET power MOSFETs have been optimized for use in 1-kW output, hard-switching converters. A higher degree of ruggedness and reliability is claimed as a result of increasing avalanche energy, dv/dt turn-off failure immunity, and Cdv/dt immunity. The IRFPS43N50K, IRFB18N50K, IRFB18N50K and IRFBL18N50K MOSFETs are available in industry-standard packages, as well as in the company's Super-220 and Super-D2Pak packages. Prices begin at $1.67 each/10,000.
