Four updated versions of the company’s U1071A line of Acqiris two-channel, eight-bit PCI digitizers promise users highly precise and cost-effective data acquisition in small to mid-sized test-and-measurement applications. They are suitable for use in research and educational experiments such as high-energy physics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, medical imaging and commercial ultrasonic testing, tri-phase power testing, automated test equipment, and the validation of mixed-signal semiconductors. Features include a clock accuracy of 2 ppm, trigger jitter of 2 ps, power consumption of 20W, the option to auto-synchronize up to six channels within a desktop PC or a 2-GHz internal clock, acquisition memories up to 128 Msamples per channel or 256 Msamples when channels are interleaved, bandwidths from 200 MHz to 1 GHz, and sampling rates as high as 2 Gsamples/s. Additionally, the digitizers include software drivers for Windows, Linux, LabVIEW, and VxWorks plus code examples for MATLAB, C++, Visual Basic, LabVIEW, and LabWindows/CVI.
