Four new surface-mount power inductor series feature devices mounted on a high heat-resistant LCP material with the winding wire wrapped directly to the platform to serve as the terminal point and thereby ensure high reliability and low contact resistance in high-current applications. Offering high energy storage capacity in a small package, the inductors (PM3308, PM3316, PM3340, PM5022) are well suited for dc/dc converters and can serve as smoothing chokes or EMI filters. Price starts at $0.90 each.
