UPS Delivers 720 kW In A Compact Footprint

Sept. 1, 2000

Designed for continuous, mission-critical applications, the EPS 6000 uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is rated at 800 kVA/720 kW, yet measures only 120" in length. Incorporating the company's digital power quality (DPQ) logic, the power supply provides an energy efficiency rating of 94%. For ease of service and maintenance, the unit features a modular design with front-accessible transformers, remote signaling and reporting systems via modem link, and computer-aided diagnostics. An integrated inductive-based input filter design reduces input current harmonics to approximately 5% while keeping power factors stable and lagging at all times. A serial port is included, while a large-screen color graphical user interface with touch-screen is available as an option.
