Designed to protect Ethernet equipment from damaging surge voltages, the DETHTRAB employs two-stage protection using standard RJ45 connectors. The protective circuit shunts damaging surge energy safely to ground before it can cause data loss and equipment damage, the company says. It is engineered for minimal attenuation of high-frequency Ethernet connections and has a cut-off frequency of 100 MHz. The packaging offers quick series installation in new or existing networks.
The DETHTRAB fulfills the requirements of Category 4 and Category 5 wiring installations (EN 50 173).
