5A DC/DC Converter Saves Space

Designed in a surface mount configuration, the 5SR75.5SN is a non-isolated 5A output dc/dc converter with a user-selectable output voltage range from 0.75 to 3.63 Vdc and an input voltage range from 3.0 to 5.5 Vdc. Packing up to 15W in a package measuring 0.800" x 0.450" x 0.245", the converter is suitable for pcb layouts with limited space. Remote on/off is included for energy sensitive applications. Output voltage trim is available to compensate for IR drops due to long lead/trace requirements. Set point accuracy is ±2.0% of Vout and total accuracy is 3.0% of Vout. Load regulation is 1% from 0A to 1A and 0.5% from 1A to 5A on the output. Line regulation over the entire input range is 22 mV. Output noise is typically 35 mV peak to peak as measured over a 20 MHz bandwidth. Switching frequency is 300 kHz.
