Groomed for low- and medium-power applications, the AEL series external AC/DC power supplies includes 15W, 20W, 40W, 60W, and 80W models, all meeting the energy efficiency standards stipulated by the US Energy Star initiative and those of the California Energy Commission (CEC). The series offers 40 single-output models with output voltages ranging from +5 to +48 Vdc. Non-standard output voltages are also available. Measuring 91 mm x 38 mm x 36 mm, the 15W model specifies an efficiency of 85% while other power ranges within the series also achieve a minimum efficiency of 85% and consume a typical standby power of 0.3W. All models include Class I insulation with the 20W model also available with optional Class II insulation. Additionally, the power supplies include over-voltage, overload, and short-circuit protection. Price for a 15W AEL unit is $15 each in OEM quantities.
