DC Filter Fortifies Photovoltaic Systems

Limiting noise generated on the dc side of the inverter, the FMER SOL standard dc-filter series is suitable for use in photovoltaic systems. The filter also ensures EMC compliance and overall reliability of the entire PV system and provides high-temperature resistance to simplify the system and reduce the energy needed for cooling. It handles currents from 25A to 1,500A at +55°C ambient temperature and voltages up to 1.2 kVdc.
