Enlarging the STripFET VI DeepGATE power MOSFET portfolio are nine automotive-grade devices that offer energy efficiency, size, and cost benefits to cars in the near future. The series of AEC-Q101-qualified 30V and 40V power devices employs the company’s advanced STripFET VI DeepGATE technology to achieve low conduction losses relative to the active chip size. The devices feature on-resistance values ranging from 3 m? to 12.5 m? in industry-standard DPAK or D2PAK surface-mount power packages. Other features include 30V and 40V breakdown voltages, current ratings from 44A to 80A, a standard threshold drive, and an operating temperature range from -55°C to +175°C. Pricing ranges from $0.50 to $1.80 each/1,000. STMICROELECTRONICS, Lexington, MA. (888) 787-3550.
