Power Integrations' LNK410EG (dimming) and LNK420EG (non-dimming) are two new additions to the LinkSwitch-PH IC family, dramatically reduce BOM cost and driver size for commercial lighting applications of up to 78 W. The single-stage design enabled by LNK410EG and LNK420EG can deliver efficiency greater than 92 percent. Because no primary high-voltage electrolytic bulk capacitor is required, achieving lifetimes of 50,000 hours is straightforward, even in challenging outdoor environments with high ambient temperatures. LNK410EG and LNK420EG provide a constant-current output with a PF-corrected and low THD input.

  • 92.2% efficient at 230 VAC for a 75 W output design
  • Easily meets EN61000-3-2 class C limits.
  • Power factor is above 0.95.
