The NEMA-style VALVETRAB-SQ surge-protection devices promise safe and reliable surge protection from 40,000A to 200,000A. The series includes approximately 50 part numbers in three different mountable designs: control cabinet (CC), sub-panel (SP), and service entrance (SE). For light-duty commercial, industrial, and residential environments, the VAL-SQ CC series handle surges up to 40,000A and accommodates installation in a control cabinet or directly to equipment. A multi-phase surge protector and noise filter, the VAL-SQ SP series devices install adjacent to sub-panels or directly to the equipment and provide 80,000A or 120,000A of surge protection per phase. Guarding service entrances and remote locations in industrial, medical, and commercial applications the VAL-SQ SE series is available with 120,000A, 160,000A, and 200,000A surge ratings and are mountable near the circuit breaker. Each series includes status LEDs, audible alarms, sine wave tracking filtration, and function monitoring. PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA. (800) 322-3225.
