Network Interfaces And I/O Racks Now Support Ethernet

Jan. 1, 2001

The OpenDAC family of network interfaces and I/O racks now support 10/100 Base-TX connectivity with automatic negotiation via an RJ-45 connector. The network interfaces are useful in adding I/O to PC, DCS, RTU and PLC-based systems. In addition to Ethernet support, the products are also available for Profibus-DP, Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, and Optomux protocols. Other features include support for IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u, diagnostic LEDs, password-protected configuration, an embedded web page for configuration via a web browser, and CE certification.
