The 558 series of 3-mm panel-mount indicators now include ultra-bright, water clear LEDs in green, amber and red, as well as high-efficiency diffused LEDs in orange. Providing uniform illumination, the indicators are also available in red, green, yellow and amber in high-efficiency diffused, low current (2 mA), diffused, super-bright diffused, and non-diffused models; red/green and yellow/green two-leaded bi-color versions are also available. The indicators snap into front panels in 3.94 mm holes and panel thicknesses of 0.787 mm to 1.57 mm. The indicators are available with straight terminals for wire wrapping or with 152.4 mm or 355.6 mm 26 AWG wire leads. Typical operating characteristics are peak wavelengths of 563 to 660 nm, intensity of 1.6 to 200 mcd, current of 2 to 20 mA, forward voltage of 1.8V to 5V, and operating temperature of -55°C to 100°C. Price starts at $0.43 each/1000.
