Available in inductances up to 1.2 mH and current carrying capability to 8.1A dc is a line of surface-mount, octagon-shaped inductors targeted at power supply and EMI/RFI filter applications. Available in four package sizes, the inductors may be connected to provide higher current capability with lower inductance, or higher inductance with lower current carrying capability. The SMT toroidal inductors also can be used as 1:1 transformers or coupled inductors with electrical isolation.
