Developed as a low-maintenance alternative to neon and incandescent lighting, the Light Stix integrate high-brightness LEDs into a mountable plastic tube. Reported advantages to this approach include low power consumption, high brightness, low heat generation, wide viewing angles, and zero maintenance. A single tube employs 36 LED chips to produce a light intensity greater than 400 nits and a viewing angle of 60°. Typical operating life of the LEDs is 100,000 hours/11.4 years continuous. Pricing starts at $50 each. SUNBRITE GROUP, Palatine, IL. (800) 278-5666 ext 525.
