Plugs And Receptacles Serve Sensitive Electronics

April 1, 1999

Well-suited to sensitive electrical and electronic equipment used in industrial environments, the Marinco IG Series of electrical plugs and receptacles separate ground contacts from their mounting straps, isolating the circuit from transient signals generated by "noise" producing sources. The ground terminals on the receptacles are designed to directly connect only to the service entrance grounding system. Each of the nineteen new devices are orange, with an orange triangle indicating isolated ground. The devices are suited for many critical electric connections in industrial applications, including UPS, computers, injection molding machines, process controls, welders, power distribution systems, and stage lighting.
