A new 100-A, three-phase switching power supply features a “universal auto-ranging input” that allows the device to accept 340 to 550 V ac and output 24 V dc. The 2400-W supply targets SELV (separated extra-low voltage) and PELV (protected extra-low voltage) circuitry. The supply is protected against overload, over temperature, and input or output over-voltage. In-rush peak current is less than 130 A, and short-circuit peak current is rated at greater than 150 A for 2 s. Efficiency is greater than 92%, and dissipated power is 210 W. Load regulation is better than 1%, and ripple at nominal ratings is no more than 300 mV pk-pk. The operating temperature range is ?20°C to 60°C, with derating above 50°C. Additional features include front-panel LED status indication, adjustable output, and 100% factory testing. AUTOMATION SYSTEMS INTERCONNECT INC., Mechanicsburg, PA. (877) 650-5160.
