Versatility is the key ingredient of the new SLP3 series variable centerline light pipes. The proprietary design of the series provides matching elevating centerlines and protrusions to meet the desired SMD LED location on a panel or enclosure. Centerlines range from 0.150" to 0.750" to create varying heights and feature a standard lens protrusion of 0.100". Custom lens protrusion dimensions are also available. Engineered from polycarbonate UL 94V-0 rated material, the devices are available in frosted, clear and a wide spectrum of custom dyed colors. The light pipes are compatible with all industry standard surface-mount LEDs from 0402 through 1210 sizes, as well as the company's own SM Series surface-mount LEDs. Maximum footprint is 0.178" (4.5mm) wide x 0.140" (3.6mm) deep. In total, the SLP3 series affords the designer over 500 different possibilities in a single package. Typical pricing is $77 per 1000 in production quantities.
